Mission Statement
The mission of Island Girl Power is to provide and encourage Positive Alternatives for our young ladies, empowering, encouraging, and inspiring them to be confident in their efforts to live a happy, healthy life. We are compelled to advocate against negative images of women and girls in the media and in our community.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to create an environment where girls can feel safe and confident in their abilities, and make healthy lifestyle choices, which ultimately discourages teen pregnancy, substance abuse, sexual promiscuity, and suicide. We also place great emphasis on positive role modeling and volunteer work in our community.
